IRC
Scotland is living up to it's reputation....dull, cold and heavy rain! well let's be honest what Scottish person would want it any other way! The Forth Valley team have been on the ball making sure that we keep our followers up to date every step of the way! The cars came back for a quick ten minute service so the team had to acted swiftly and get as much data and photos as we possibly could! so here are the photos taken but only a few a can be posted as there is close to a hundred or so.....after our 100 meter dash about the service stops collecting our data the cars were polished up and off ready for the next stage of the rally...so the team, decided it was time to go for a few soft drinks and a bite to eat(to be completely honest it was more just to get out of the cold!) check back soon for the next update of the blog!
Saturday Morning, so far...
We arrived this morning at ten o' clock eager to start. It's a cold and overcast day, but there is excitement in the air. People are running around everywhere, all doing their own separate jobs. We, the Forth Valley media team, were given our press passes and set out to get as much photos, video and audio as we could get a hold of.
We went to see the cars as they arrived at around eleven thirty to be weighed and sent off for inspection. Reporters flocked around to interview the drivers as the waited for admittance to the garages.

Just arrived....
Arrived today at 5 o'clock and had a wander about....there was not much going on on our arrival, so with the chill of the night and the clouds threatening to open up we decided to go to Nandos for a few drinks (non alcoholic!) and wait on the rally drivers to reappear. Within 20 to 30 minutes 'Rally Royalty' (none other than Alister McRae) walked through the door of Nandos and sat right next to our table, Unable to keep ourselves at bay we immediately took our chance and interviewed him there and then. After the interview and having taken a few photos, we drank up and headed straight for the media portacabin to create a podcast so we could share our experience with all. I'm sitting in the media portacabin writing this blog next to Media Production teams from countries across Europe (and can't emphasis enough what a feeling you get from sitting in an atmosphere such as this). We have been here for little over 2hrs and 15 minutes and have to admit I'm having a fantastic time, The rally cars and crew have not even reappeared from their race in Perthshire so the best is yet to come....and with a full day still to go I can only dream of the wonders that await us tomorrow.
